Intense flavor and intense color best describe this cherry tomato. Purple vines produce large cherry tomatoes with undersides and insides that are bright crimson-red but the tomatoes turn from blue to purple to almost black in direct sunlight. Check the underside of the tomato to determine ripeness, since it doesn't receive direct sunlight the bottom will turn from green to red when ripe.
Great flavor, great color and high in antioxidants, it produces a heavy crop of unique tomatoes.
